How can I pray for a specific nation during war?

This one is difficult. During times of war there are always winners and losers. Thats why we call it war. God does not listen to words like kill and distroy, as those are prayers against someone or something. Prayers like that don't work.

Pray for the protection of our sildiers, pray they be safe: "Our Father.. Please watch over each and every one of our troops and insure their safe return to their homelands and familes" This prayer of hope is an effective war time prayer, it promotes hope, sincerity and faith.
